Nice weather headed south and left us with a windy, cold, damp day. Took the mountain bike out and rode around Bad Indian Swamp. Checked out the bird trail to see whether it is passable or not. It had a few trees down but only had to dismount a couple of times. Did one intentional dismount as I was approaching a tree across the trail and while trying to line up to ride over it, hit a root and dumped the bike. Took a chuck out of the back of my ankle by falling on a broken limb but tights seemed to help minimize the bleeding. Appeared to be a mere flesh would so soldiered on after using my anger to move the felled tree off the trail. Probably should bring the chainsaw down and clear the other trees to make it ski friendly but that is something else that is a good idea I'll never do. Had enough of the weather so bagged it rather early, but had a good ride.
