Looked like a good day for riding with a fair amount of sun and a light south wind. Have a couple of long rides coming up this weekend and wanted to see if I can still ride any amount of distance without getting exhausted as lately thirty five miles has been my enjoyment level threshhold. Would hate to spend the gas money to drive to the events in PA and end up spending the day suffering. Rode around SenecaLake at a fairly easy pace. Had a good run to Geneva but ran out of gas on the way back. Was able to keep the legs turning for the whole trip with a minimum of coasting. Only saw one rider going the opposite direction near Glenora. He was wearing an orange jersey but didn't look like a SV rider. Cut through Samson Park rather than taking the express up 96. Usually dislike the cut through the park because of the poor road surface but since I wasn't keeping any speed the vibrations weren't too bad. Had a decent spin but no strength so doesn't look like I'll be using the big chainring this weekend but felt good enough to get some distance in.
