 Easy Road Ride
Still on the cool side and still no sign of the sun. Another low key ride to Horseheads via Fitzpatrick Hill and Middle Road. Was surprised again seeing a couple of riders on the Middle Road. Seems to be more riders out on cool, cloudy days rather than in the warm sunshine. Waved to the pair but they were two busy being important to acknowledge me. Felt better than usual so pushed the pace a little after the climb and had good speed in a couple of sections but still not feeling strong enough to keep on top of the gear for any length of time. Seemed to do better into the wind than I did on the way back. Appear to still be suffering from diminishing returns. Not a bad ride as cool weather is feeling to be the norm now.
