Thurs was a rainy day ride - a little drizzle in the AM and a steady rain in the PM along with a headwind out of the N at 20+ & temp in the low 40's. Fri was much nicer w/AM temp in low 40's but no rain. Then Fri PM was the start of my bowling season, so I rode directly to the alley arriving 30 minutes early and since my wife wasn't there yet I took a ride around the block for 7 extra miles. That extra block is the western third of STL international airport which included a trip through the Lindbergh Tunnel.
The first night of bowling was good, too. Things overall for the league seemed to start out well. And I had a 590 series, so my 196 average to start the season is about where it was after the first week last year.
