The other day when I arrived at work I was surprised to see my travel bag was not zipped shut - not even partially zipped. It really wouldn't have been alarming if the zipper ran along the top edge of the bag, but it swoops about 1/3 the way down the bag as it comes across. The bag is not normally full, so there was no loss of contents; plus the bike lock is usually secured on a carry handle and therefore lays on the flap and probably helped to keep it closed during that ride.
This morning when I arrived at work, I was really surprised to see the lock wasn't locked to itself, and was hanging on by just the one end. When I put it on the bag this morning before leaving the house, I guess I fumbled with the tumblers a little to much and set it back to the unlock combination, and the jostling during the ride caused the two ends to seperate. I would probably really been thrown for a loop if I arrived at work with no lock - wondering how it could perform its own Houdini act.
