Today I rode the Trek from home down to Cleveland Park, across downtown, and joined the trail at Linky Stone Park. I rode north - the trail is newly paved from Willard Street to Blue Ridge Drive. I left the trail at the Lakeview spur then took OBR north to Watson then took McElhaney back to Travelers Rest. I stopped at the TReehouse and had a southern peachy grilled chicken sandwich with a fruit cup. I also bought a blueberry muffin for Cissi. I talked with Kristen and Lindy while I was there. I rode south down the trail and again took the Lakeview spur to OBR. I followed it to the Orange line and went behind Hampton Station. The race car was gone from the parking lot, but there was an early 60s Bel Air in the lot. I went to the Hampton Avenue Bridge and the downed power lines was out of the way. I rode by the post office and Peace Center and took Broad Street back to McDaniel. I went up Washington to Hillside and about 3/4 way up I stopped and talked to Pat T from Overbrook. I had seen him several times, but never spoken to him before. We had a nice talk. When I went by Chris Gratton, the large tree is still across his driveway and the utility poles by his drive.
