They didn't have class today because of Veteran's Day, but the forecast called for thunderstorms. Once the day arrived it was overcast but no thunderstorms. After lunch I rented one of the NCED bikes and took off on a route that I had mapped out on MapMyRide.com. The bike was in ragged shape but it and I both survived the ride. The route was much hillier than I expected but it was a nice ride. The wind was pretty brutal, but it is Oklahoma! With today's ride I passed my goal of 2000 miles in 2010. Maybe I should have set a goal of 2010 miles! I did not count the indoor miles on the stationary bike toward my riding miles. I was disappointed that i hadn't passed 2000 miles before coming out here but I am glad to have passed it. After riding that bike today it should make me appreciate my road bike at home!
