 Furman Alone
The weather was beautiful today so I headed up to Furman to ride the Swamp Rabbit. On the way I stopped at Timmons Park to see my friends Bill and Carla and also Roger and his wife Robin were down from North Carolina. The Upstate Classic (disc golf tournament) is this weekend at Timmons, so I stopped by to see my buddies. Bill called yesterday and told me that they hadn't seen me since September 25 when we played last at Greer. We chatted for quite a while last night and he caught me up on all the latest disc golf gossip in our area! I enjoyed getting back with Bill and Carla and I only see Roger a couple of times a year, so I enjoyed seeing him and Roger too.

After seeing them I headed on up to Furman and got on the trail. I felt like I was really struggling with the ride, but when I was done my average speed was the highest since I started riding. I was pretty surprised by that.
