Really warm day with temperatures in the eighties. Wind was in the teens today which is really and improvement over the past week. Headed back to the east and headed out to Dimple, Old Dimple and Bagwell. Read a couple of historical markers which pretty much commemerated the opening up of the Sante Fe trail through this area and a couple of Davy Crockett stopped here on his way to his death at the Alamo. Passed my eleven thousand mile mark near a cemetary in Old Dimple. Looked like the same prarieland as New Dimple. Had a good ride and doubt I'll see too many more days in the eighties in 2011 unless I head for Florida. Took a twilight cruise and had the best ride in a long time as I watched the sun set in the west.
