 Swamp rabbit Trail
Today I took the Trek, but shortly after I left home I discovered that the front derailleur wouldn’t shift to the small ring. I rode the trail and saw Joe and Wilson in front of the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I stopped and talked with Joe for a while. From there I rode straight up the trail. It is repaved to about half way between Blue Ridge and Sulphur Springs. I stopped at the TReehouse and had a bag of nuts and granola with a Cafe au Lait. I also bought a fried apple muffin for Cissi. I rode straight down the trail. I saw Ken and Steve Y going north. I called Cissi to come pick me up at Cleveland Park since I couldn’t get into the small ring to climb the big hill. I took the bike to Piney Mountain and Jonathan lubed the derailleur and it was fine after that. I am having real issues stopping quickly with this broken finger.
