I keep thinking that I'm going to ride, but just haven't felt up to it. The temps dropped today but I figured to give it a shot. I soft pedaled most of the time as I quickly realized that I had no endurance and had no climbing legs. When I got to Furman there was a bike off the side and upside down. I circled in and asked if it was anything repairable. He said that he needed an Allen wrench, so I stopped and got out my Allen pack. He was riding a rental and the front brakes were locked up. He adjusted them with the Allen and made it serviceable. After I left them and headed north I realized that my legs were gone. I worked my way on to the Trailside Creamery. Jenn is having an orange/garnet contest for the Clemson/ SC game tonight. I had an orange cream twisted with vanilla, but only because I like the flavor. Jenn and I chatted for a while then I headed home. I stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and had a cup of Mighty Leaf African Amber tea. I felt cold even thigh it was 50 degrees. That tells me that I'm not over this crud.
