Today was Ken's Ice Cream ride and there were ten riders - Ken, Mark, Georgie, and me - plus I met a new young couple Ramsey and Heather. I drove to the zoo to avoid the ride home from the zoo. I am still very weak being sick and was struggling to keep up. I was okay until we stopped for Ken's FDR lecture, but when we left there I couldn't keep up. They pulled over for the Fat Ma's lecture and I went on to get ahead. I was first to the Creamery and caught Jenn in the midst of an airline disaster story from when she was a stewardess on a 747. I had the red velvet/ chocolate twist and Jenn's hot chocolate. Georgie and her friends left early to get back, then I left with Ramsey and Heather ahead of Mark and Ken. I had a good time chatting with Ramsey while going back down the trail. I had to ride just a little extra once back to get in my quarter.
