I don't know if I didn't get the computer seated all the way onto its handle bar mount, or if the rain or something caused a problem with a connection somewhere, but anyway I got home a looked at the computer and it only logged 2.93 miles & 14 minutes & 32 seconds of commute distance & time for the ride home.
With the strong wind out of the south, the avg speed should have ended up in the 13-14 mph range, too. Who knows? I know I was cranking up the hills noticably faster & easier than I was climbing this morning heading into the wind on the way to work.
Oh, well.
