Wind has died down and the sun heated the air up nicely today. Added an extra loop since I wasn't spending as much energy as normally due to lack of wind. Was having a nice spin in the country until I was run off the road by a truck of nearly pure evil. A white tractor trailer traveling at a high rate of speed nearly clipped me on a country lane with no shoulder. The driver wasn't pure evil as I did survive or perhaps he is pure evil but missed. He could have easily given me room as there was nothing in the oncoming lane. Worst part of the episode was the smell of death that was being sucked along in the wake of the truck. Actually didn't run off the road until after he passed and the smell hit me. He did provide a kodak moment though as the sight of the white truck spewing billowing clouds of black exhaust mixed with white chicken feathers being blown from the trailer will be with me for awhile. I imagine he got a thrill from the act or maybe he thought he was teaching me a lesson but either way he passed from my life and I continued to enjoy my ride on a warm fall day.
