 What to wear.
It was one of those days where its tough to decide what to wear to work, because it would be to much to wear home. This morning the temp was in the upper 30's, and after hitting the mid-70's for a high this afternoon it had dropped back into the mid-to-upper 60's for the ride home. Tights, full finger gloves, head/ear cover and long-sleeve jersey for the ride in, and shorts, short-sleeve & headband for the ride home.

Almost fell at a stop sign on the way home. As I rolled up the little hill to the interseciton, there was a transit bus completing a passenger pickup just to the left of the intersection (heading my direction), and a school bus was across the intersection coming towards me and stopping at its stop sign. The school bus was going to come straight through the intersection, so it was a matter of timing the city bus continuing its route & clearing the intersection. I hoped the city bus would be quick enough that I could do a little trackstand, however, my front wheel hit a rut in the concrete, that I couldn't see because it was dark (at 6 PM) and I wasn't paying that close attention to the road as I approached the intersection. I was just quick enough to unclip my right foot and get it on to the ground in order to keep my bike and the rest of me from hitting the ground.
