I have been battling with a migraine and the subsequent hangover but decided to give my regular ride a whirl today. I knew that I'd have to get after it to beat the sunset home. While going north I came up on a rider that looked like he could get after it and I chased him down. I passed him coming across Sulphur Springs and lead him out for about a mile and a half, then he over took me when we started a slight uphill. I stayed with him until we got just south of Furman - I ingested a ladybug and got hung up at the railroad car crossing. So I cruised on north to the Trailside Creamery. Anthony sold my a kiddie cone vanilla/butterscotch twist - very good. I also passed on congratulations to Jenn for the Bears win over the Eagles last night. Then I headed south - and got after it coming back down the trail. I started catching female rider coming to the Sulphur Springs crossing. We waited for traffic to clear then she took off and I latched onto her wheel. She went right to the speed limit and held it there until we got to a little incline and I passed her there. The rest of the ride was fun and these two runs made it very enjoyable.
