I was wrapping things up a work a little early, and Jacque said she was running over to Pop's to see if he had bills to pay. So, I thought I'd just ride and meet here there, then we'd go over to the bowling alley together.

Had a great night of bowling. The opposing team all pre-bowled - not sure what they had going on. After bowling three strikes in the 10th frame of the first game, it looked like Jacque was going to beat me. Then I noticed that I was not credited with my spare in the 9th frame. My score was corrected, then I proceeded to bowl three strikes and ended up beating Jacque by 9 pins. In the second game, Jacque started with 5 strikes - I did'nt have 5 strikes, so I was trailing early. Jacque then had a spare in the 6th, four more strikes, and finished with a 265! Whoot! I squeezed out a 192. As the third game was winding down (in the 8th frame), Vicki noted that Jacque needed another 43 pins to finish the night with a 600 series. Well, she didn't quite make that finishing the third game with a 157 and series of 594. Then there was the question of Jacque having a better series than me. I proceeded to bowl three strikes in the 10th frame of the third game, earning a 227 for the game and a 600 series - beating Jacque by 6 pins. I knew it was going to be close. It was a fun night - bowling great, and winning all 7 possible points for the night helps to make it fun!
