Ride Description: What a great day in the great white north! After snowshoeing 2 miles at Rock Lake (1.5 hours) I got out the Super V and got in some miles on the Ice Bike.
I put the old boat anchor, Fox Vanilla spring shock on because the Risse Air needs to be rebuilt. That shock weighs a ton, but it sure works well.
Oh Yeah... Only saw 3 cars the whole ride!!! |

What a great day!
First, I went over to Rock Lake to snowshoe. Conditions were perfect. Seventeen degrees, and virgin snow! I couldn't believe I was the first person to hike the snowshoe trail.
The snowshoe trail basically follows the mountain bike singletrack. It was weird, because as I was hiking, I knew right where all the rocks were, even though they were covered with snow.
I took the shorter 2 mile loop that split from the mountain bike trail for a short "trailblazing" section to the end of the Rock Lake trail back to the parking lot.
After eating, I got out the bike for some Ice Biking.
Garden Lake Rd. was hard packed snow with some ice here and there. perfect, just the way I like it. I only saw three cars the whole ride!
The photo with the realty sign is the lot I will buy when I win the Lottery. It's the perfect setting for the dream home.
