Today was Ken's Sunday ride. I rode down tothe zoo and four of us left there - Ken, Kevin, three-wheeled Steve, and me. As soon as we left Peter joined us to ride up. The ride up the trail was very uneventful. We made it to TR and stopped at the Forest for a coffee and snack. I had a cup of coffee and a berry parfait. On the ride back down the trail Peter and Kevin blew out ahead and were never seen again. I rode with Ken then Ken dropped back to ride with Steve. I pulled ahead of them and stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I had a $5 discount so I went in and bought a pair of outberry shortbreads and a pair of citrus cranberry scones. One each for Cis and me. I bypassed Falls Park and found myself ahead of Ken and Steve down there. We had met E.Clair and she stopped to talk to Ken, so that put them far behind me. I figured that when I came out of the cafe that they'd be almost back. No flats - no accidents!!
