I drove to Cleveland Park to meet and ride with Ken's group. I was a little early, so I rode a couple of early miles to ensure getting a quarter. There were twelve of us that left - Ken, Steve, Mark, Kimberly, Susan, and. Bunch that I didn't know. We rode about two miles and Ken pulled off at the FDR memorial. Since there were several new riders he was doing a "smell the roses" tour. The big group was blocking the trail Ken encouraged some of us to go on, so I took off. I never saw the group again. I ran into Don and Elissa part way up the trail, then rode to the north end of the trail. I turned back and stopped at a new ice cream and bagel shop in Travelers Rest called Treats. I had a peanut butter, banana, honey, and chocolate smoothie. Wow!! The ride back down the trail was fairly uneventful.
