Today was the second of my 2 bike commute days this week. Probably could have ridden on Wednesday too, but the forecast called for freezing rain late in the day, and I was unsure if it moved in early (during the evening commute) where that would have left me. As it was, if I had ridden, the bike would have been covered in ice sitting in the back of the truck as the freezing rain fell while we were in church rehearsing for tonight's opening of our Singing Christmas Tree at Fee Fee Baptist Church.
The music we are singing in the tree is called "A Baby Changes Everything", arranged by David Clydesdale. It includes the title song, which was released by Faith Hill a couple years ago, "While You Were Sleeping" "Another Silent Night" from Mark Hall (Casting Crowns), and a few other songs.
Despite having computer server issues less than an hour before the start of the performance, opening night went very well. It wasn't perfect, but it did go smoothly and was well received. The main floor of the sanctuary was almost full, while the balcony was about half full. There are two performances on Saturday (3 PM & 6 PM) and just one on Sunday (at 3 PM) to complete this presentation.
