Ride Description: I needed 33 miles to break my December mileage record, and I thought I could do it, but my legs brought nothing to the table.
I rode east to Beaverton Road, and back to Elevator Road.
The Long Prairie Trail east of Poplar Grove got pretty icy and rutted, very tough technical riding. I wasn't up for it, so I didn't go much further. |

I needed 33 miles to break my mileage record for December, but my legs brought nothing to the table today.
The Long Prairie Trail east of Poplar Grove got pretty rutted and icy, it was very slow, technical riding, and my tired legs weren't up to the task, so I turned around.
The wind was a little stronger and colder than yesterday, but it wasn't too bad.
Too tired to type. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
#1... I love the slogan under the Nokian label.
#2... Icy snomobile tracks.
#3... Late fallen leaves fill the frozen ruts.
#4... Pay no attention to that no snowmobile sign.
#5... Freezing stream under one of the bridges.
