I headed out East North to town to get to Furman and back. I told Erica that I would meet her at the downtown post office at a quarter to five but that I wouldn't wait. I was there at 4:44 and circled the post office for about 5 minutes. Then I headed out Washington to the Swamp Rabbit. I made it to Furman, stopped for a water break, and headed back south on the trail. About 2 miles south I ran into Erica. So I turned back north and we headed back to Furman. We rode together to Furman and back to the post office. I got home just before the sun set and had a fairly good ride.
