Started heading back north and stopped in Flagler beach just north of Daytona for another tour through the jungle. Weather continues to be warm and wind continues to blow steady. Started the ride into the wind along the ocean on A1A. heading south on this section is the way to go as there is a good shoulder in addition to a sidewalk\bikepath whereas the northbound side had little shoulder and is occasionally covered with wind blown sand. Nice ride with enough scenery to keep me entertained enough that I hardly noticed the wind. Hit the southern most part of my loops and headed over the bridge at Ormond Beach and then headed back through the state park. Brush was thick enough that visibility is only a couple of yards and heard lots of activity in there today. Expected to have a velociraptor leap out at any time but more than likely is was a boar, although the only animals I have actually encountered were armadillos and grey squirrels. Saw lots of fisherman using poles and nets to try to bring some fish out of the salt marsh and also passed a couple of cyclists. Crossed the drawbridge and headed back south on the John Anderson Highway for the second loop and finished off by repeating the ride through the state park section. Still a little run down but enjoyed the relaxed pace on one of my favorite rides.
