Stopped in Kerrville with intention of doing some hill work. Legs have not recovered from my ordeal of scaling Emory Peak. Had great difficulty walking up the stairs to my motel room last night, but was able to go down them this morning without too much pain. Traffic was very heavy at the start of the ride and ended up hitting some road debris and breaking the bead on my no-tubes resulting in a flat. Returned to start and changed the tire. Abandoned the planned course and just rode about for awhile. Ended up with near forty miles so I am don't feel too guilty. Nice terrain in Kerrville but too much traffic.
