 Back in Texas
Finished up the job in Florida and headed back to New York for a bit. Didn't get on the bike while at home as spent a good portion of my short stay shoveling snow. Had to head out to Texas for my next assignment. Didn't stop at all to ride on the drive down as all of the route was at or below freezing with a good bit of ice or snow. Weather finally broke in Texas and got out for a short ride. Sun came out and temperature got up to a tolerable forty-five degrees. Bundled up and was comfortable while riding with the light tailwind. Return section was a bit brisk. weight is way up and even the slight rollers took there toll. Time for the diet again if I want to have any speed this season. If the weatherman isn't lying temperatures might get up to seventy or the weekend.
