Weekend's nasty weather has moved on except for the high winds which will remain for another day. Sky was clear with bright sunshine. Still too cold for the road bike with the wind so it was back on the mountain bike with a good bit of climbing. Really got warm on the climb up Fitzpatrick with sweat dripping out of the few areas that weren't covered for protection from the wind. Remained comfortable through most of Texas Hollow which varied between sunshine and shade. Sunshine sections were fairly muddy but shaded still had a hard packed snow\ice surface that provided a few thrills on the downhill rutted sections. Worst part of ride was the end Texas Hollow to Burdett as I had to ride a couple miles of deep cold shade then dead into the headwind. Downhill from Burdett wasn't bad because it was over quickly and remainer of the ride in the valley was pleasant.
