Today I took off from the house determined to get in another quarter before going to another baseball game. The wind was absolutely brutal today with it swirling and constantly changing directions. I rode to Cleveland Park and out the Hincapie Trail. Then like yesterday I rode up in front of First Baptist Church and took Cleveland to the Y and used their trail to loop back to the Hincapie Trail. I followed it baack through the Park then on to Falls Park and headed north. I had just gone by Cedar Lane when I met Bill D going south. I rode north to the end of the Trail then turned around at White Horse Road Extension. I rode south back to Furman and turned into the ball parking lot just above the softball stadium. I got to the game at the start of the 6th inning with Furman down 3-2 and Akron threatening. In a few minutes Akron was up 7-2. After a couple of innings Furman hit a pair of home runs to close the gap then scored again to tie the game. Furman nearly won in the bottom of the 9th, but didn't quite pull it off. Finally the Furman second baseman hit a two out walk-off homerun in the 10th for an 8-7 win.
