 Cold Ride
Nobody wanted to do the Sunday ride today so I rode up the trail alone. Yesterday it was 31 with sun and wind, but today it was 27 and overcast. I really felt the cold while riding today. I felt it the hardest on my toes. I just took the normal path up the trail with a side jaunt to the Furman baseball field. The guys were warming up for practice. By the time I was in TR I was feeling the cold. I rode back down to the Cafe and went in to warm up with a bowl of Lentil Soup, a large cup of hot chocolate, and an oatberry shorbread. I bought a second oatberry shortbread to take home for Cis. I stayed in long enough for my toes to warm up them made the final 6 1/2 miles home. The rest of the ride was fairly uneventful and not freezing.
