I headed to Cleveland Park after work to try to catch up on my lost mileage. It was only 40 degrees when I left, so this was my coldest ride yet. It was very windy, but not brutally windy like yesterday. I wore a sweatshirt over my t-shirt and long-sleeved t-shirt and cut-offs over my spandex leggings. Even so, when I turned into the wind it was sending icy blasts up my skirt! I should have wore thermal socks as my feet were cold. With the wind, I just couldn't get much speed and it took me time to get up to speed. I spent a lot of the ride in lower gears, but I still enjoyed the ride.
