I've Got Something to Say
|
I worked only for a half day in the morning, taking the afternoon off just because. We are leaving town tomorrow for a long weekend ski trip, so I was able to get a few odds & ends done around the house and make sure the truck is all prepped for the trip. One thing on the truck is the check engine line has been on for the better part of the last couple months. The code indicates a O2 sensor reading on one bank of the V6 engine. This seems to be triggered when the temp is sub-freezing - happened last winter and over the holidays - so like I did last year (right after we returned from the ski trip) and again a few weeks ago, I disconnected the negative lead from the battery to reset the computer reading and see how long the light stays off (if it stays mild around here it should remain off until next winter).
The weather was beautiful - temp into the 70's - but I didn't make any plans or carve out time to go for a bike ride to enjoy this weather. My focus today was preparing for the ski trip this weekend.
