Sun was back out today but any accompanying warmth was cancelled out by the damp north wind. Headed into the swamp on the mountain bike again to try to avoid the worst of the wind but ended up with cold fingers and toes. Trail was at least dry and firm but that in itself wasn't enough to put this ride in the plus column. Even the animals I routinely disturb on this ride were holed up from the wind. Finished the ride off cold and tired with little desire for any more cold days on the bike. Hope Spring is not far off.
