Today I rode to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe to ride with the Swamp ROMP. Today it was Kathy, Joe, Jeff, Lynn, Glenn, and me. We picked up Cis at Furman and Karen met us at Duke's Doggs. I had never met Glenn before. He is one of the old time Swamp ROMPers, but he doesn't ride with them very often any more. I rode with Jeff for a while, then got with Glenn since I didn't know him. We rode together and had a nice talk. Cis was waiting for us at the RR car at Furman. We rode on up the trail and into TR and stopped at Duke's Doggs. Karen was busy working at the trailer park and came over to have lunch with us. We had a long talk around the table. Kathy left ahead of us, Glenn lives in TR and stayed there, and Karen headed back to the park. We made it down to Furman and I put the Schwinn back in the GMC and Cis headed for home. I rode with Jeff down the trail while Joe and Lynn were having a political discussion (since today is voting day.) We made the Cafe where Joe and Lynn left, then Jeff and I headed on into town. We rode together into Falls Park and split there. Once on East North Street I stopped to vote on the way home. Hopefully today will settle the election hubbub in this area and we can have some peace and quiet!!
