My annual visit to Dr Rothman (my retina specialist) was scheduled for this morning, so riding to/from work would not be an option. Additionally, the weather forecast called for 6+ inches of snow starting late morning and through most of the afternoon, so riding home from work would be a challenge anyway. And still having just one vehicle would call for some creative and flexible planning.
So, I drove Jacque to work, stopped by my office for about 30 min before heading to the dr's office. The visit went a little quicker than I anticipated, and I got a good report, again. Dr Rothman even wanted to make sure an intern was sitting in during my visit, as I am classified as an excellant educational case (I chuckled when he said that), since it took over 2 years for the residual retina fluid to disipate from behind the retina wall.
I returned to work to find out a conf call scheduled for 10 AM was post-poned (due to the weather in KC), so I left the office, picked up Jacque from her office, and we headed home as the snow started falling in earnest in the area.
