Finally, the bike is out of the shop, I'm not sick, and it isn't raining! Today was Ken's Coffee Ride. Cleveland Park was packed to the gills. I drove around close to 15 minutes before I got a space to park. I saw a guy walk to his car and I stopped where he could get out, so I got a space. Eight of us started out - Ken, Don, Kimberly, Susan, Barbara, David and his friend that I didn't get his name, and me. David, his friend, and Susan all started in TR, so they were finished when we got to the Forest. Don had a wedding to go to so he turned back at Furman, so after half way we were down to four. The trail was so crowded that we agreed to come back on Old Buncombe Road. If the trail is crowded and I'm alone I do that, soI was glad that we did. There were a lot of bikes on Old Bumcombe as well. Barbara left us when we crossed Cedar Lane as she rides home that way. Ken, Kimberly, and I all rode back to the park, but I turned off before the zoo since I had parked in that direction. It was good to get out and ride a again.
