Bitter harsh winds of the past two days have passed so after spending a couple of hours clearing branches from the grounds I headed out on the mountain bike for hopefully my last cold weather ride. Bright sunshine kept me warm though the temperature was at the freezing mark. Conditions were dry throughout the swamp and the ride and didn't encounter any ice and the only snow that was vsible was on the northern slopes of some of the hills. Overheated again in the tailwind sections and got cold into the headwinds and afterthe sun passed into the rising clouds. Was very surprised to see two other riders out today. Decent ride overall but really could have done without the cold toes.
