 Ride to the Game
Furman played Dayton today with the game starting while I was still at work. I drove home and change into my riding clothes and headed out to the trail to meet Cis at the game. It was chilly, but I rode up in shorts and an extra long sleeve t-shirt. I ran into Ken and Steve while passing through Furman. As I rolled into the Furman parking lot I saw Beth (the coach's wife) walking across the lot. I looked for the GMC and saw the back door open then Cis walked around the corner. Beth and Cis were cold and went out for blankets jackets. I had jeans and a sweatshirt in th car and put them on and put the bike in the car. It was the top of the 7th and Furman was up 7-1. The game went by quickly and Furman won 8-1. In the 9th inning an older man riding a Surly Crosscheck rolled into the stadium. I had met him earlier on the trail. We talked a bit and he plans to be at several games and wants to ride the trail.
