Wind shifted to the north though temperature remains above forty. Took another short ride outside with one small climb. Caught a tailwind to Millport and ascended the climb up Johnson Hollow. Wasn't very energetic but at least stayed out of the granny gear. Upon reaching the top of the steep part started picking up a cold headwind. Got an ice cream headache as I continued and really wasn't having a good time. Climbing was over by mile thirteen and just had the usually fun downhill and tailwind sections remaining. Kept the speed down though as hands were going numb and anything over thirty miles an hour was getting painful. Thought about bailing early but suffered out the full ride. Decided during the ride that maybe some more miles inside on the trainer might be a better option. The north wind is bringing back another week of cold weather so at best it will be on the mountain bike in the woods if I ride outside.
