 FU - SRT Double Header
I was on campus at Furman to watch the Furman Paladins play the Western Illinois Leathernecks in a baseball doubleheader. After the Paladins disposed of the Leathernecks 6-3, I pulled off my sweatpants and took my bike out of my pickup and headed for the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The trail is now open through Travelers Rest and I heard that the southern end of it was nearing the downtown trail. They are supposed to be connected by this summer but are presently about 5 miles apart. When I came to the southern end of the trail it is still closed and there is no asphalt been laid yet. The northern section through Travelers Rest is cleared off and a very nice ride on out north of TR. I pushed hard to get to 20 miles and returned to game 2 of the doubleheader in the bottom of the 4th inning.
