Was walking into work after parking my bike on Mon, and noticed the recessed cleat on my right shoe was crunching the pavement pretty good. Got in to change clothes and inspected the shoe to find the sole was split just under the ball of my foot, in front of the cleat mount, from the outer edge across to less than a 1/2 inch from the inside edge. Since I hoard emails, I found the order confirmation from April 2010 when I ordered the sandals. Order new sandals (and replacement changeable lens glasses that I mentioned a few weeks ago) Mon night, and received the shipment Wed evening (without express shipping).
