Rode the Surly from home into a terrible wind. My thighs were toast just getting to Overbrook! Going down Hillside, I yelled "Hey!" to Pat T, and stopped to talk to Joel. Kimberly met me at the zoo. We rode up the trail, but I died climbing the hill at Furman. I got off at the TRee House to check on Kristen and Gene and see if they have unsweetened almond milk, while Kimberly went north to do a climbing route. They do have the milk and Kristen is struggling. I bought a small latte, a cinnamon bum for Cissi, and several cards. Then I went to Leopard Forest and ordered another latte and waited for Kimberly. She had a couple of lattes while there. We headed back to the trail and I pulled Kimberly into the wind and up the hill, as my legs had recuperated some. Then we battled the wind down the trail. We passed by Hampton Station and ran into Mile on Washington Street. We stopped and talked a while with him. I split with Kimberly at Hillside and I passed Joel again while climbing the big hill.
