After work I drove down to the downtown post office to hit the Swamp Rabbit again. After the big wind last night it had calmed way down, but the temps dropped along with it. It made for a very chilly ride. Erica called while I was still a little south of Furman so I told her to ride south. Then we rode south to Sulphur Springs then turned north back to North Greenville Hospital and south back to Furman. That got Erica's 14 miles in. When we were about a quarter mile from the parking lot for her to go home Erica ran over a squirrel. It ran out in front of her and kept jumping back and forth in front of her until it slipped and she hit it. I don't know if it injured it or not, but Erica was horrified by it. After I dropped her off then I headed back to the post office and drove on home. Even though it was cold it was a good ride.
