A little on the cool side in the mid-fifities but the bright sun and light winds made for a pleasant easy ride. Not much to note on today's ride other than hearing some peepers which is always a good sign spring isn't far off. After two years of construction they have finally completed the two bridges on the climb between Crandall and Talty. No longer have to wait for the lights and sprint the single lane of dirt and worry about getting out before the traffic starts coming the other way. They have also completed the construction coming back into town by the high school and the road now has a nice shoulder. But with progress comes a price as there are many more houses along the route and many less horses.
