 Hard Climbing
Back to Millport again today on the mountain bike but instead of up the trail I went up Dug Road and over the hill. Had a really good climb today and had a higher average speed to Millport than usual despite the eight hundred feet plus climb. Kept a good cadence and good pressure on the pedals. Average speed didn't improve much on the downhill section on the New Road as the road surface was basically sloppy mud. Didn't do as well on the second climb up Millport Hill Road and legs were very tired on the rolling terrain back to Fitzpatrick Hill. Enjoyed the climbing more than the typical out and back on the trail but it was much more work. Also had to do a dog sprint and was fortunate it happened on a downgrade,
