The bike was in the shop yesterday to get the front shifter cable replaced. It was overcast and a little windy but off I went. I rode to the north end of the trail and turned to come back. I noticed that once I had turned around that I had been fighting the wind and it was pushing me back down the trail. I made it as far as the Cafe and stopped in for a treat. I had a glass of hot apple cider with an oatberry shortbread and bought an apple-walnut scone for Cis. Rush hour traffic was just picking up as I crossed Stone Avenue onto East North Street, but I made it home with no issues.
