 Mark Schultz
Car pooled to/from work. Jacque had a dentist appt right after work, then we headed down to CrossPoint Church, in the rain & rush hour traffic, for the Mark Schultz concert to kick of the Joy-FM Sofa Concert series, celebrating their 12 year anniversary!

Despite Mark starting the concert off with a tear-jerking song (He Was Walking Her Home), his songs and the stories behind the songs made for an excellent evening. His current release, All Things Possible, came out of his cross country bike ride a few years back. I had heard he took this adventure, to raise funds for a charitable organization, but to learn that this song came from that expedition. He talked about how many times climbing mountains would be a struggle, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. He finally got to the point where he would say to himself with God all things are possible, and he kind of, sort of, started writing this song, and repeating the words to himself, as he would make his way up the mountain.
