Today I rode down to the zoo and 6 of us left on the Sunday ride - Ken, Ron and Kim, Kristi, Brent, and me. We took off up the trail but stopped after the grated bridge crosses the Reedy to go up the new ramp that will be part of the Cancer Survivor's Center. We took a leisurely tour up to Church Street on the ramp then back down. Falls Park was packed with walkers so it took us a while to get through there. Then we took off up the trail. We set a pretty god pace on up the trail. Ron and Kim turned back when we got to Blue Ridge as they had a house showing to go to. Kristi turned off as we came into TR. Ken, Brent, and I rode on to the Forest where I had a cup of coffee and a piece of carrot cake. I also bought a white chocolate/macademia cookie to take home for Cis. The Forest was very full, but we made a place to sit and we chatted for a long time. We hustled back down the trail, but Ken and I had a nice long chat going home.
