I headed downtown on East North to the SRT for another quarter ride after work today. Erica said that she was doming, but she didn't call until I was about .2 miles from where she parks, so we headed on north to the north end of the trail. I'm really trying to push Erica along and pick up her pace so that she can challenge me. I told her that I had DLS today (Dead Leg Syndrome) and needed her to push it. I had another Club Tombay experience today, but the left cleat would not unclip from the pedal. I rode the rest of the way home with the left side clipped in and then had to take my foot out of the shoe and unclip it with a pair of pliers. The screws had come loose so I tightened everything down and made a mental note to check the cleats and tighten them periodically. Today I thought that I saw a groundhog. I didn't know that they were in this area. Larry Thomason honked the horn in a USPS van at me whiel waiting at the rid light at Main Street.
