Working from home has its disadvantages.
I worked from home today due to a water main break at work. The break was discovered late Thursday afternoon, and they turned the water off to the building just before I left alittle before 5:00 PM.

I received a voice message from my boss, Michelle - who lives & works in OH - later in the evening because she had seen a couple emails that were sent after I left stating they weren't sure when the fix would be complete. Contingency for employees would be for those who can to work from home, and those who can't to be prepared to take PTO. The 'weather line' would be setup with updates, but not before 8:00 AM. Well, to ride to work I leave between 7:00 & 7:15 to get to work by 8:00; so it would be better if I just worked from home.

Working from home is convenient, but it sure cuts into my stats for riding my bike to work and the loss of 15-20 miles. Plus, on Fridays I enjoy the different route I take going to the bowling alley. There a couple good stretches of road.
