Weather Conditions: Clear. Slight SW breeze. 52° when I started. 44° When I got home. Very Nice!
Ride Description: I had a very slight headache, and it was 52° when I got home, so I skipped Spin Class, put on the 16 tooth cog, and rode without the chain tensioner to see how it would ride. Without the Chain Tensioner the rear end was almost as stiff as a hardtail. Also tried my new rear fender, looks a little dorky but there wasn't as much water on the roads as I thought there would be. In fact it was dry everywhere but Kelly Meyers Park.
Was nice to get out, the fresh air was great. Didn't get much of a workout cuz I still need to get the proper spacers to align the chain, and running without the Chain Tensioner, I didn't want to break the chain.
The bridge at Kelly Meyers Park was a frozen ice mud mess. Still a LOT of gravel & salt on the streets. Oh yeah. Risse shipped my shock today from California.
